Better Week...Yay!

This week, while not perfect, was much better than last week's slog, so yay! There was knitting, 

Sunshine and bubbles...and an Oreo cookie,

An afternoon at the zoo, 

Some time in nature with the big boys, 

and even a sleepover last night, complete with donuts this morning! 

All of this means that I'm a little extra tired today, but it was all worth it. Maybe I'll grab a nap tomorrow, though...

Waiting...

It's almost Easter. Are you ready? 

I think I am. I've colored eggs...kinda...

and I'm working on the bread for tomorrow's feast...

Bread and ham and snacks to prepare, fun trinkets for the celebrations. The waiting is the hardest part. At least I know that I'm just waiting. 

When I think back to that first Easter, I remember that Jesus's friends and family weren't waiting. They were simply mourning. 

Then, amid the deafening disbelief, He kept his promise. Then He rose! He is risen, indeed!

However you celebrate, even if you don't celebrate Easter at all, I wish you joy this weekend. Can't find a reason to be joyful? Spend a minute with these two smile-makers!
