Falling Into September

As a kid, I remember going back to school on hot, late-August days that were torture. The sun was bright, the temperature was high (inside and out, no AC in elementary schools then) and even sitting still without melting was a challenge. But, with high temps in the mid-60s (°f) August 2025 is making us crave soup (first chicken noodle of the season started)

and think of fall holiday decorating ideas!

While the gnomes navigate the bees and mud of the pumpkin patch, we're watching college football, flag football,

and knitted footballs,

as well as looking forward to the upcoming HalloWeekends season at Cedar Point!

While I know there will be an "indian summer," and temps will probably spike into the 80s again, in a week or two, I am enjoying this little taste of Tiny Fall, inspired by a few Mochimochiland patterns I've recently knit!

Anna is so right...adding eyes brings them to life!

Just like feeding the family lunch after flag football brings them to life...look! The boys can lift their daddy (with some help from mom)!

Energy is high on a cool, August Saturday, until that soup starts to digest and we all need a moment of rest.

Yes, it's been a good, good week and a good, good day! What's making your weekend good?

Thanks for stopping by, and Knit in Good Health!
