Another new year, another new snow
Looks like winter finally decided to show up! On cold, snowy days like this, I'm glad my hobby is a cozy one! I have plans for hats and mittens, but first, I'm knitting some whimsy!
A dozen hearts to share with friends that I won't see as often in 2025, because I'm starting a new job a week from Monday. More details about that next week...for now, I'm sharing my heart with the friends I work with here...
How have your first four days of the new year treated you? I hope that you are well and that this fresh, new year has been good to you so far. Drop a comment to let me know if you have any fun plans!
Thanks for stopping by, and Knit in Good Health!
I am ready to knit my first Wonderful Wallaby sweater. My 5 yo granddaugher’s chest measurement is 22” per her Mom. I am not sure if the tape measure was held tightly or not. Chest measurements on the pattern say that is a sz 2> NO way. I am thinking of making the sz 6. Thoughts as I see you have made many Wallaby sweaters. Thanks
ReplyDeleteLol...maybe Mom measured low or high, it's hard to know. In any case, if the child wears size 6 in other clothes, a six is probably correct. 🙂
DeleteSomething I notice in this pattern is that the sleeves are written longer than the waist, which I'm not a fan of. I usually add a little length to the body, between the pocket and raglans, so the length is closer to the sleeve length.
Let me know how yours turns out!
