There is something about that first really cold, autumn day. We woke up to 46 chilly fahrenheit degrees this morning, windy and raining. I needed to create some warmth, so I turned on the oven to do some baking, made a hot cup of chamomile tea, and I got out my crochet hooks! After a quick Ravelry search, I found this pattern...
Now I have three leaves created (coasters, perhaps?), in leftover fall colors from last year sometime, and there's a hot chicken pot pie calling my name.
I hope that you are keeping cozy and crafty this weekend, wherever you are! If you're close, head on over for a taste of Ellie's homemade chicken pot pie...it is AMAZING stuff! Thank you, Ellie!
Thanks for stopping by, and Knit, (and Crochet) in Good Health!
That's really cool! And, um, we were both commenting on the cold at 57 near sundown. (But hey, it was 93 yesterday.) I know, I know... We still remember what real weather is...
