Not Looking Much Like Christmas Here

Here's a photo of my daughter's Christmas tree...

And here's a pic of my daughter-in-law's Christmas tree...

And here's a shot of where my Christmas tree should be...

::crickets::

I've been so busy, and we spent the Thanksgiving weekend on the road to visit this cutie...

...and now that I'm back, there's only a couple weeks until Christmas...so it looks like I need to do one of two things:
1. Put up my Christmas tree! Or
2. Stop stressing and be ok without it this year.

What do you guys think? Am I a "Scrooge" if I skip it this year? Or am I just being practical? There are so many things yet to do, and that tree may just be for me, no Peanut around this December...what would you do? I mean, I still have this little tree to keep me company...do I really NEED more???

For now, I think I'm going to just focus on getting through the rest of this busy week! I hope that you are doing well with your holiday plans and preparations. :) Thank you for taking a moment to stop by!

  1. It's ok not to have a tree. If our grandson was not coming to see us we wouldn't have put one up!
    Merry Christmas and a Happy 2014!

  2. We haven't even looked in the garage yet to buy our (yes we finally bought an artificial) tree. We might even skip it--except that the grandsons are arriving with their parents the day after Christmas. Kudos to your daughter for having such a glorious thing going there. It's beautiful!

  3. It's okay to leave it down! Whatever lessens the holiday stress is the right choice.
