Last week was the annual Knitters' Christmas Party, and Michelle was our host! As I was trying to figure out the best way to blog all the fun, this song kept coming to mind. I would apologize for sticking it in your brain like that, but read on. I think it is a pretty good fit for the great day we had!

The Knitters' Christmas Party was last Saturday;
All my friends were there, and we were ready to play.
Had our needles out, and we all had our yarn;
Even had some wool socks, knitted up really warm!

Makin' some connections as we plate up the food -
Everybody's eatin', so we're all feelin' good.
Christmas trees of olives and yummy cream cheese,
Chocolate covered popcorn brings us down to our knees!

Fun tools for our knitting, and glass ornaments,
Cozies for our soup bowls, gosh these friends are the best!

Yes, it was quite the party, as it always is! I think this was our 11th year for this particular set of festivities, and as soon as my tummy settled down (I had more than my fair share of dairy, which I should always avoid, but it was so darn yummy...), I started looking forward to next year's party! But first, Festivus this Thursday!
Gosh! Knitters are fun! If you are not a knitter yet, I hope that you will be someday! How else will you connect with all the other fun knitters?!?
