Shhh! It's a secret...

I've got so much knitting on my needles, but I CAN'T TALK ABOUT IT!!! It's all secret knitting, all the time, these days at Pretty's house. I can tell you that there are many different kinds of projects in the works...and I can tell you that there are brown ones, and blue ones, and green ones, and ones with purples, too!  I can even tell you that there are no fewer than 6 projects in fingering weight yarn (to be honest, three of those are completely finished), and three of them have been cast on just in the past week.  Oh, one more thing I can say is this:

Yes. I do believe I have completely lost my knitting mind. And I don't even have a single knitting picture I can share with you today. (Mr. Greenjeans is still drying in anticipation of the annual Knitters' Christmas Party tomorrow!). However, I can show you a photo of my cat.
You know I'm gonna sleep on this...right?!?
When I went shopping for a tree skirt a few days ago, I realized that it would eventually become a cat bed, and it would definitely need to be laundered once in awhile. Did you know that tree skirts are not usually machine washable? And did you know that dedicated tree skirts are fairly expensive? "And did you further know that George Baily is dancing right over that crack?" Oh, sorry...I got lost there for a minute...It's A Wonderful Life!, isn't it?

Anyhoo, I decided against the tree skirt, opting instead for a fleece throw with snowmen. It's artfully arranged around the base of the tree, and the cats approve...both of them. =D
Comfy, Comfy!
Sometimes, you just gotta give in. I'm hoping my hands don't give in before I am finished with the Mad Christmas Knitting Dash of 2012! Are you dashing about, trying to knit something (or many things) for the holidays this year? Please, tell me I am not alone in my madness!!!

Wherever you are in your knitting frenzy, thanks for stopping by! Remember to stretch, and pick up different projects here and there, to ease your knitting fatigue and keep you safe from carpal calamities...and Knit in Good Health this holiday season!
